Woke up in London yesterday, saw myself in the city near Piccadily, don't really know how I got here . . .

Today was a fantastic day all around. I want to say it's been my favorite day overall, but I have done more awesome things in days gone by. Today, we started our day on Portobello Road. It's true what they really say . . . you go there to SHOP. That place is really dangerous for me. I'm always very close to just caving in and buying everything. No joke. I'm really proud of myself and the discipline I demonstrated: I only bought a dress, three scarves, and a ring . . . all for very good prices mind you! Here are some snapshots of my day on Portobello Road and my spoil. And . . . I just couldn't resist. And . . . They are soooooo soft. Which is very important to me. My mom can attest to the fact that I think basically everything is itchy. I wish I wasn't so sensitive. With the first two scarves it's a little hard to tell the difference in the pictures. The first one has warmer colors while the second has cooler colors. Then the last one is just red. Well, ther

It's a beautiful night.

Tonight I enjoyed a lovely evening walk with my two roommates Dezi and Ariatna. We first took a stroll around Kensington Gardens, directly across the street from our flats. It was slightly chilly, but the wind was very refreshing. I feel like I was in genuine greenery, not the fake kind that is in Utah. Those those plants really naturally grow there and the air feels so fresh and has the perfect level of humidity. Just enough to make you take a deep breath and go "Ahhhhhhhh." When the wind rushes through the leaves of the trees, it's a very soothing sound, and much quieter than in the Utah mountains with the quaking aspen leaves. By this time it was really beginning to get dark. The frantic British police were driving around in their puny cars telling us the park was closed and to get out. I was afraid my camera wouldn't be able to get any good pictures this late, but I think this picture really captures the mood. It was gray everywhere, the pond reflecting the late,

Can you hear the people sing?

Yes. That's right. I just saw Les Miserables. In London. Yup. There was absolutely no faking in accents. They are naturally Buuurrrtish!!!! To put short and bluntly, it was the most amazing thing I have ever sat through. "Sat through" seems so negative. More like, vividly experienced it. Les Miserables and Wicked are probably the best things to this day that I've ever seen on stage to this point. Those are the kinds of plays I just get teary eyed in. I particularly was teary eyed at the beginning, in the middle, and at the very end :) Okay, to be more specific, "On My Own" and "Bring Him Home" certainly pulled some of my heart strings. And "Empty Chairs at Empty Tables" . . . . and the finale . . . . and when Eponine dies . . . and "Stars." Okay. I really need to stop. Basically, it was amazing, and I wouldn't mind seeing it a second time. Another notable thing I did today was shop at this little piece of heaven in the form
